Head Shaving

Family Pictures
We decided before Rich shaved his head this year for Halloween we would get family pictures. When we arrived both kids were sleeping! I wasn't sure how things would work out, but I am very happy with the pics.Posies Photography did an awesome job getting both of our wiggly children to smile!
Cache is such a ham! This is how he wanted to hold the football. Trying to get him to hold still for more than a minute was challenging!
Emma was having a hard time keeping her head up, but was all smiles!

Emma's Blessing Day
We blessed Emma Labor Day weekend so that Brandon, Melinda and family could make it. She wore my blessing dress that my Grandma made almost 30yrs ago! It was crazy to think it is that old. Ginger was kind enough to come and take some pics for us. They turned out wonderful. Here is some of my favorite. We of course had to start out with the boys club, or peanut gallery whichever you would like to call them.
Here is my little poser doing a fake cheesy smile!

One of the whole family together. Cache was insistent on having the croquet mallet and ball with him.

Three generations of beautiful brunettes!

Emma with the proud grandparents minus my dad.
Brandon does actually clean up nice?! Or maybe it is just the cute kiddos!

Bath Fun!
Cache helped me give Emma her first bath. As you can see she wasn't too keen on the idea.
The look on Cache's face is my favorite. He couldn't figure out what all the fuss was about!
Since that first bath Emma is getting a little better about getting them. Although every time we give her one Cache says, "She isn't going to like us very much!"

A birth story...
It's a Girl! the nurse says....and so the journey has begun. She is 19 inches long and 7lbs.6oz.
The delivery went well and we were all very happy to meet our new little addition.
After going to the nursery or should I say spa? she came back all clean with her hair done all cute!
Cache was sleeping when daddy brought him to the hospital. When he woke up he was trying to figure out what we were doing. We then introduced him to his new baby sister. He said, "she is pretty cool!" He gave her lots of kisses and kept telling us that she liked him!We asked Cache what he thought we should name her and he decided she should be named BLUE TOADY!(like in mario brothers).
I would say she was definitely worth the suprise!
