Carousel

Cache and I went shopping at the South Towne Mall and he fell in love with the carousel. Because it was naptime I told him we would have to come back when dadda came home. As I took a very reluctant Cache to the car he told me with a few looks that I was the worst mother ever and that I had ruined his life! The whole way home he kept asking for the horsies and I kept telling him that we would go when dadda got home. The second he woke from his nap he was asking for the horsies and once again I told him he had to wait for dadda. As soon as dadda walked in the door Cache was pulling on his finger telling him it was time to see the horsies. We piled in the car and went to see the horsies. Cache road the carousel 3 times, and probably would have stayed on it all night if he could.

Tubing

We went tubing at Soldier Hollow. It was -10 and very cold. So we all bundled up and went outside for some fun!

Cache wasn't so much into the tube as he was playing in the snow.He really enjoyed making snow castles with dada!

Just hanging with dada in the snow!

Holiday Pics

We had a great christmas with friends and family. Between parties and working it went by in a blur.I am a little slow on getting some of the holiday photos on the blog. I guess it is better late than never!

Santa

Santa came to Rich's work christmas party.Cache was so excited he couldn't wait to sit on his lap. When he finally had his chance he played peek a boo with Santa, and kept telling him HO HO HO!

Christmas FUN!

Opening presents on christmas morning was a lot of fun. Cache would tear off part of the paper and then try to shake the present out.
Cache in his christmas jammies that he picked out himself. With all this loot how can you not enjoy christmas!

The Christmas Tree

Cache really enjoyed decorating the tree, and re-decorating it daily!
His idea of great ornament placement.
He also enjoyed sitting in the tree!
This is one of my favorite pics! I actually got him to look at me and smile! I guess that is the fun of sitting in the tree!
My big helper putting away the christmas tree!

1st trip to the ER

What better way to start a blog than a trip to the ER resulting in 5 stitches!? Apparently telling a one and a half year old they can't play with sheet metal doesn't go over very well. After Cache cut himself I looked at his finger, or lack there of, and knew it was going to need stitches. Rich was at work so I drove to Jill's home and she drove me to the ER! I don't do well with blood and tried to pass out several times. Thankfully Jill does well with blood and Cache! After several hours we finally made it home and this is what his finger looked like!

We were told not to immerse it in any water, which was great considering we were leaving to Hawaii 2 days later! However thanks to latex gloves and coflex(courtesy of the ER) we took it on the road. This is what it looked like after a week of fun in the sun!

We made it home from Hawaii just in time to get his stitches out. Two suckers and several shiny bandaids later,(the Nurse at the ER thought he was cute) Cache was stitch free.

Now, nearly a month later, Cache still shows everyone his finger and holds it up for pictures, and I can almost think of it without wanting to throw up or pass out! One ER trip down and I am sure many to go!
